Scatter Brain

I lifted like 6,800 lbs today. Sounds like a lot huh? Too bad it's not. C'mon, I can't even do a push up. Never have been able to. I lifted most of that in my legs and ab's.

Kalee read a book to children in the child watch today while I was lifting and really impressed the staff. I love the ladies that care for my babies the next room over.

My Parent Toddler Fun Time classes are doing fantastic and are always full. I hope the wonderful feedback I got from one of the directors today will lead into more activities for the youth in upcoming months. I love seeing people walk away with smiles because I know I have made a difference! The best part...every employee loves what they do and emphasize putting Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all! Seriously, can I call that work?

The local public library should put me on their payroll. In the year of living here we have made a large dent in the children's section.

Not sure if I have shared the story of how this situation was presented to me as it was quite an emotional testimony ...but I am officially at ease with hosting a ladies Bible study (but we need a catchy name like Bible Babes) and am thankful God clearly laid it on my heart to do so. I will admit that I'm enthralled in mentally planning for the first meeting. We are doing a "Soup and Slipper" fellowship day for the first meeting so we can discuss what we will be studying. The best part is it's His group and the Bible does the teaching. So why am I sharing this? I want to know if there is a study that you have done that you feel every woman should do. Believe me I know there are a lot out there but wanted to ask if there was something you absolutely have to recommend so I can bring it to the table when the time comes.

Work up's stink! Not my favorite part about being a Navy Wife. But every day spent away makes us stronger.

My challenge this month is to do 3 proper push-up's. You know, it's not nice to laugh. Don't think I can't see you laughing at me. :)~

I stink like sweaty gym! Off to shower.

Haha...I mean. I totally was not laughing. Really? I had a tickle in my throat. :-D

You know I've never been good about picking out clever names! Haha. But good luck with that!! Hehe.

I am a part of a woman's bible study that meets the first Saturday of every month. The name is Women at the Well. We have been going through the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5... which every woman should strive to have more of in her life! Each study we focus on one fruit. It's been amazing! If you are looking for a study through a book I am reading "The Pursuit of Holiness" by Jerry Bridges. It also has a companion study book titled "A Bible Study on the Pursuit of Holiness." This book is incredible so far! ... I think that was a little more that just 2 cents but certain things like the Bible get me really excited =)
