Yesterday I woke up at 3:30 am feeling horrible! When I swallowed it felt like skin was being ripped off my throat. I made myself an appointment and drug the kids along (not supposed to but the boat was still out and we don't do child care). I went in got swabbed and since it was confirmed I was strep positive I got a prize before I left. Actually 4! I hate taking medicine but never have been so happy to swallow my own saliva. I'm feeling much better today.
I got to spend Valentines day with Max! The boat pulled in two hours before the day ended. I know it sounds pathetic but I'm rather excited since we have not spent that day together in about five years. I felt horrible and was contagious, but it felt wonderful to have him back... since he's my personal bed furnace.
