Three years ago I was sick of Japan. Today I am Japan sick. I want to go to my favorite little red ramen house. After that it would be nice to walk to the Daiei mall to get a fruit wrapped crepe and Musket melon or Kyoto grape flavored ice cream.
...and it would be fantastic to take a train up to Nippori, Tokyo's fabric district. I could find cool material for 100Y a meter to put towards Kalee's new interest in sewing. She needs Guma closer by to show us things I don't know (which is everything but threading the thing).
Man, I miss that place.

This place and the people here miss you too!!!!
Haha...that's crazy. I know that I'm going to miss this place. We're PCSing out of here and making our way to San Diego. (Home for us) Can't wait to see family, but I'm going to miss being in walking distance of so much. Plus I LOVE the 100Y store!!! I could spend $100 in that place. Crazy!!! :-)
Sometimes when you leave a place, you never think you'll miss it, then suddenly, odd memories float through your mind and you realize you do! The most important thing for me to do in those times is remember that home is where my stuff is! I can always go back to visit those places that have a little piece of my heart and I'm blessed to have been able to live in a place other than where I grew up.
I really miss Japan too....maybe one day we can go back!
