I just saw a dragonfly swoop past my window that was the unsettling size of a seagull. Or maybe it was a blood sucking, Averi skin welting mosquito. Or maybe I want a nectarine so bad that my brain is going crazy?!?!
The reason I wanted to write this blog is to let y'all know unlike my last treatment, so far I'm feeling like I can handle this 'after chemo' session. Saturday after treatment is reckoned my "not-so-favorite-after-chemo-day"...so I hope it's tolerable as today was.
The highlight of today...um, well Bear has strep. After a rough night...and a fever ranging between 101-102.0, Max took him in to get checked. Pharyngitis strep were words I could have gone without hearing. Poor boy is not acting himself and wants me to cuddle him...and of any time in my life to get sick, now is not it! At least he doesn't put up a fight to take his medicine.
Ta-ta for now! I'm going to call my neighbor to see if she happens to have a ripe nectarine.
