Cycle 3 - Day 1 (5th Treatment)

...NO ONE!!!!

Just woke form my normal 'home from chemo' nap. I'll start from the beginning but going to give the short version...believe it or not. Today was Day 1 of Cycle 3. Which means it was jumping ahead of myself...whoops! That just goes to show how ready I am to fight! This was my 5th treatment and NO it was NOT pushed. The Dr. said it's not going to affect how the treatment works if it is dripped slower but possibly contributes the nasty episode from last time to pushing the meds. From here on out all 4 chemo drugs will be dripped...because I have a big mouth and told him how I felt. ;) We discussed my weight too. Well he did... because I lost a couple+a few pounds. I showed him a mark on my right rib and explained that when the aliens abducted me they took a few pounds. Yeah, he didn't buy that...but has plan B ready (steroids to help with nausea-which will help me keep the poundage stable) if I'm as yucky feeling as last time.

So far I'm not feeling any more tired or nauseous then 'normal'...if there is a such thing. I am about ready to go put down another piece of grilled chicken, that's for sure. Stomach isn't rejecting it and I'm diggin' it.

I'm also lucky enough to head back to the GYN...because my blood count is doing great and he wants a report of all my reproductive business (because of a before chemo history of ovarian cysts) . I really do love how he's thorough. Too bad it's not him on the back spread eagle with a cold do-dad stuck up the hoo-ha to scrape, smear and take pictures!
