Out and About

I know... it's crazy. I'm not on here daily blogging about Kalee and her poop analogies or how Bear feels the need to drain his bladder in strange places. Nope. Instead I have been playing catch uphim. I have been trying to catch my son doing strange things like wadding up a whole roll scotch tape that he found in an unknown place, taking apart his toys with a screwdriver found somewhere other then on his toy workbench, oh...and standing on the toilet seat to pee into the toilet. Yeah, I guess that would be another pee story for the record. At least he made it in the house...heck, he gets 2 points for making it in the water too.

Today I actually accomplished some 'out of the house' errands. I started by heading to the airport to welcome a fellow blogger, Navy wife and mom friend in with her family from overseas. Her Mom made me lavender cookies that taste scrumptious. Kalee ate one on the way home and asked if her poop was going to smell like lavender. Eh, yeah...that's Max's kid alright! After that I ran past a local home school store that sells new and used curriculum's to pick up the next set of math texts...and since I can't deny my children books we walked out with an arm full of reading material. Looks like she's interested in furthering her education on marine science since we took that beach nature walk last week. By then, I was pooped. Other then commissary shopping, that is the most I have done out of the house by myself with kids since I started treatment. I can still do things...won't let my body tell my mind I can't...I just do it in small doses. :) It's a lifestyle change, that seems to be working.

I tidied up a little. Checked all the bathroom sinks in the house to see what toys my children decided to bathe tonight. Sat on the computer reading about oil blends and decided that mopping can wait til tomorrow.

I also realized that if you keep the blinds closed you don't see the yogurt hand prints and I have recently endorsed the 'saving of electricity' more to not notice the dust in my curio. ;)

Time to tap out. Night.

Lifestyle changes are sometimes hard. Your mind and body aren't always on the same page. Sounds like you are doing a pretty good job with the adjustments.

I love reading about the squirts...I mean kids. LOL You have to tell the one about the rain and Bear. hahaha

Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
