Today was not as bad as yesterday. My worst complaint is my mouth. Who would have ever known me to complain about my mouth?!?!?! The Adriamycin (1 of the 4 chemo meds I'm taking) has side effects of mouth sores. Me, the Googler that I am, looked it up and read the worst of it would hit by day 7. WHAT??? It's such a weird unexplainable discomfort of the mouth/tongue/jaw. I have experimented with salt water, baking soda water, hydrogen peroxide gargle and egg drop soup. ;) Don't research egg drop soup when you get your next mouth sore...it was just an Averi remedy that seemed to work for that moment.
I stayed home from church today. I have slept more then you could imagine. My friend Susan came over with a smoothie in hand knowing that would be the reason I let her in. She is so sweet. I was even able to thank her for removing a tick she found on the back of Bear's neck within seconds of walking in the door. Last night Max found one on Kalee. Ticks are new to us but having tick infested kids is a different story. I have heard people talking about how this year they are pretty bad....guess I get to research a good natural way to keep those disease carrying 'suckers' away from my kiddos.
Max went to church but came home injured. Long story short he is currently in ER getting his toe assessed. Fortunately we have wonderful friends all over. Amber brought Kalee home from AWANAS while our other friends that just got here from Japan and are still adjusting to the time difference, took Max to ER. After 8 hours you'd think the bleeding would stop?
...and how Bear managed to lift his nail too tonight is beyond me.
Never a dull moment in this house I tell ya!!!!

Wow , heavens do you have a LOT going on! No one around you has the right to complain when even you are hardly letting a word of complaint out! I know everytime i write on your blog I say you are AMAZING but thats because I think you are so incredibly amazing! I hope I can be more like you! I hope your mouth feels better soon:) Sooooo if I come in town in the near future all I need to do is go by tropical smoothie pick up a smoothie (and possibly a wrap) and you'll let me in? ( I noted that very carefully so I wont forge the tatic she used:)) I love you Averi and we are keeping you continually in our prayers:)

Wow, I guess life is not dull in your house hold, but it would not be normal if it was quiet and a breeze. It keeps life interesting!!! I am glad that you are doing well, i knew you would be strong!!! I love you and miss you.

I'm sure that feels way worse than the sores I have from braces! Now I don't feel so bad! Did you find tea tree mouth wash? I found a ton online!
