You Look...Green!

I got outta bed this morning. Wasn't ready to. But I did. For some reason I'm really having a hard time with my eyes. The past few mornings I have had to manually open them. Once I get to the bathroom to brush my teeth and splash my face I'm good...until then, I can't function. For some it's "don't talk to me until I have coffee" ....for me all I think is "brush teeth- wash face-eat breakfast". You wouldn't want me to talk anyway...so my husband says. It would be safe to say something is not normal with my eyes... others call it 'getting old'...still not sure what that means?!?! Once we ate breakfast I let the kids have some coloring time. They really enjoy those fuzzy coloring sheets that keep the colors where they belong. Well I thought the colors were kept where they belong. I was checking my e-mail when my son came to show me his art work.

WOW! As my friends boy would say "look at the tattoos!" I think he was mistaking today for St. Patrick's Day. I stuck him in the tub for a quick scrub down and discovered he even colored his....stuff! For the sake of the picture I told him to hide it....but the face? He must think he's cool. You can imagine me calling Max's Grandma...."Good Morning Grandma- any ideas of how to get green marker of a wanker?". I even called a friend who's boy has done everything... "Has Aiden ever colored his ding-dong?" Funny enough it was one thing she didn't have an answer for. Surely my Mom would have a solution...after all she survived raising my brother...."Mom- since my son drew on his pee-pee, should I just let him pee the green off?" Her experiences were not limited to my brother peeing down the slide in pre-school....

I let nature cleanse the area in plastic pant lined underwear....which seemed to work. Then I thought twice about this potty training stuff. He does great when he streaks...but the minute clothing goes on the lower half... it's all over. A friend told me "It clicks with boys after 3". What? After 3 times peeing in buckets? We should of been good to go months ago. He was doing sooo good at one point. Now what happened? I know, I know....he's a BOY!!! No comparing him to my potty trained 16 month old daughter.

And to finish the story... I removed his markers from the room. He was limited to free play or Diego on TV. I thought I was safe...and he returned with a rainbow of colors on his inner thigh/groin area. What the heck? Took me a minute...but I realized he was using his sisters markers...

So I have to say while reading this Aiden came into the computer room and asked. "MOM why does Bear have tattoos all over his legs!" All I could do is laugh!

OH MY GOODNESS YOU HAD ME LAUGHING SO HARD TODAY!!!! The fun never ends :) That is why we stick with Crayola Color Wonder for my 2 year old because my oldest at that age was too much of a tattoo artist. See having two boys does help you learn a lot from the first so you are ready for all the tricks the second time around. :)

Let's see, I have told this story to Dad, Jessi, the girls at work (and one guy), my b-ball friends, Elizabeth (my future daughter in-law), and JOEY! (yup, he called today from Japan). Each and everyone of them cracked up laughing. Elizabeth is probably thinking "Lord, please let me have girls." Just think what Joey's son would do....anyway...Bear is awesome! VERY creative. LOL.

Driving to walmart to get crafts.... $5.00, fuzzy cardboard design to color on...$2.99, Non washable markers...$4.99, Picture of my grandson with green marker all over his thingamajigger...PRICLESS! LOL

Your son is too cute!!! I guess it must be a boy thing. Kimo loves to color all over himself too, but we have never had the blessing of color down there. LOL!!!
