Why does the Navy create mandatory dog and pony functions? Then they have the audacity to mail invitations so we receive them Monday for an event that Friday. Seriously, so often they expect Sailors to pull things outta their butts perfectly polished. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
... I can't say friends didn't warn me from a wife's perspective that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Maybe I should mail the ship weed-n-feed.

I so know how you feel! Brandon's squadron told us the day before the picnic when and where it would be and it was mandatory for him to go and bring dessert...needless to say I was making brownies at 8 am the day of the picnic! Grr....stupid Navy!
