Max told me he wanted to figure out a way to mount a laptop in the bathroom. Does anyone else find this....strange?
Then he opens the fridge to see what kind of leftovers are in there. Since we are at the 'clean the cupboards out' stage we have been eating sweet potatoes with spaghetti or chicken and beats. He pulled out left over sweet potatoes and opened it asking "are these still good". Let me say....I leave food in the fridge until I think about cleaning it out and taking the trash out at the same time. It's been in there for 5 days....so no it's probably not good. Can ya guess what he did? Returned it to the fridge! YES! Then I got to thinking'....about when I was living at home...before marriage. My brother and I would walk in the house to find Precious (the dog) threw up. AH! He and I would both bee line it elsewhere so Mom would clean it up...since after all she found it first. That house was built on top of an ant hill. I remember walking into the kitchen and finding the ant's marching in a line along the counter and up the wall. I took off to my room...and ran into my Bub who told me something along the lines of 'don't go down stairs unless you want to help Mom clean up those ants'. Then time passes by and I had my own place. I found ants traveling along the microwave cord...of all places. They came out of the light socket and managed a way to find the inside of the glass door on the microwave. My first instinct was to run away....but by the time I stepped out of the kitchen, it hit me. Whoa- I have to clean them up myself.....darn. How do I do that....I never hung around Mom long enough to see what she used. Funny how that happens.
On a side note, I HATE left overs but just recently started to eat them.....or find a way to alter them to eat in another meal....because wasting is costly.

You find the craziest ways to point out what we all would think would be obvious. I did the same thing. Only, I never really thought about it till now. When you mentioned it. Hmmmm.....
Anyways. Kudos to the moms who put up with those crazy kids. We love you mom!!!
