I have never been cut into so to have an incision is weird. I called my Mom last night who is pro at this after having 3 cesareans and several other scars showing a Dr's presence at one time, to ask if itching is normal. It feels weird but looks worse then it feels. The dark part is a marker...at least I'm assuming the scalpel wasn't a calligraphy pen.

yeppers its gonna itch as it heals...and it most definitely itches in spots where ya dont wanna scratch huh...lol
