1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? If it's my responsibility....gift bags for sure! I can only wrap square boxes due to OCD.
2. Real tree or Artificial? A prelit fake.
3. When do you put up the tree? Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving.
4. When do you take the tree down? Between the day after Christmas and New Years.
5. Do you like eggnog? The flavor yes, but I can't drink it...it's too thick like whole milk. Bleck! It's psychological, I know....but I drink cook with the see through water milk aka: skim.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Electric blanket...I'm cold and it's on my mind. Or was it money to hit the after Christmas clothing sales.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Grand-Mother-in-law.8. Easiest person to buy for? My churns.
9. Do you have a nativity scene? No. But I want one because that is what Christmas is all about. Maybe I can get one for almost nothing on the 26th.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Both but reserve e-mail only for those I don't have a physical address for. It's hard to keep up with physical addresses when most of your friends PCS every 18-36 months. I like doing Christmas letters...but didn't get one out last year because we just moved here, or the year before because Bear was born (and I moved from Yokohama to Yokosuka at 6 weeks postpartum while he was deployed). So far I have had no urge to write one this year...but I still have time and no real excuse.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Hands down a self breast exam! Yes I'm serious! I recycled it and gave it to my sister. I think I should warn my sister in law Liz...she is the next female in line.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Home Alone...only because I vividly remember my brother reciting it word for word.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I stash all year long.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Sure did! See #11.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Turkey and sweet potatoes (or orange potatoes as my kiddos call them).
16. Lights on the tree? Prelit clear.
17. Favorite Christmas song? Mary Did You Know. I'm learning to sign it too but doing Gloria at Church this year.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? This year we are kinda traveling and kinda doing a typical military Holiday...kinda weird I know. ;P
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph. One of those good things my father taught me as a kid. "Santa is just a big ol' man in a suit that's not real." -Kalee

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? One Christmas Eve. The rest in the morning...but this year is whack with travels.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? People thinking gifts are necessary and watering down the true meaning of Christmas.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? My tree has been Silver and Blue since we got married and my decor is all snowmen. I'm thinking one year I will go Crimson Red and Gold. Gotta catch those after Christmas sales though.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Turkey
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? My daughter to get her two front teeth. ;) ...no really, I want my drier to work.
26. Who is most likely to respond to this? Someone bored that unlike me has all their dishes done, laundry folded and put away and bathrooms scrubbed...
....couldn't be any of my 'Mom' friends...that's for sure...
