I was talking to my neighbors about trying to find a Church. Her husband is Catholic, she is not. Their kids have been baptised as a Catholic. I kinda gave my background of being sprinkled myself shortly after birth. I remember being a ChrEaster (Christmas and Easter) in my young years until my babysitter brought me to Church regularly with her. At the age of 6 I knew He died on that cross for me to wash my sins...and asked Him into my heart. So in conversation with these ladies we were talking about different denominations that observe Lent. One of them said how family was asking what she was giving up...then I got to thinking...what would I give up? Well, it looks like this year I'm giving up sex!!!!! (surely not by choice...I guess Uncle Sam thinks he needs him more)
...and by the way I found an awesome Church to call home!
My next project is to sew Kalee's curtains. I'm making a simple valance. Since I can only sew a straight line I figure this shouldn't be too hard. Really...it shouldn't be. I have been working on this project since, um, Kalee was, um, I lived in....Coronado?
Bear just informed me that his plastic giraffe just went poo poo. Off to investigate where he got this sticky pink substance that resembles lip gloss on it's tail from....

LOL!!!! :) You keep me laughing!!!
Hot glue...yup, that's the ticket! Never liked the ol' Singer...use it as little as possible. I'd rather clean toilets in public restrooms. Yuck you say...but true. Now give me some fabric and a hot glue gun and I'm a happy camper. :) The old craft days still haven't left me.
PS You must take after one of your Aunt's or grandparents...they ALL sew. LOL
