I'm voting YES!
This makes my blood boil! I may choose to keep my mouth shut about who I'm voting for President...but I can't sit back and let this happen. I AM voting YES ON 8! Yet another reason I'm glad we have not put our children in Public Schools even though we pay for it. At the very least, parents should be allowed to opt out just like they are given the opportunity to do with sex ed.
On another note- I went through heck to figure which state/county to register. I last voted in California but was it Riverside County or San Diego County? Or did I need to register in Arizona since I have an Arizona licence (that doesn't expire until 2047 I might add)? But I reside in Virginia...to add a fourth twist to the situation. Needless to say I talked to everyone in the Virginia and California Registrars office to figure out where to register. My Point? If I was able to do it so could you...even if your overseas...but do your research...because politicians are liars!

I have to disagree with you on this one. Homosexuality is genetic. People can't control who they fall in love with just as they can't control whether or not they have a disability or what color their skin is or how tall they will be. 10% of the world population is homosexual. I think it's good that children are taught to appreciate all kinds of people in school even if they are taught to hate (or "tolerate" which sure as heck does not mean appreciate or accept) certain people at home, at least they get the opposing point of view and are able to question things and form their own decisions. Your children are still young, you don't know what kind of person they will be when they grow up. If they fall in love with someone of the same sex, wouldn't you want them to feel normal? Or would you prefer that they fake feelings, end up in a bad marriage, and are unhappy?
Man I do not have a clue who I am voting for. PArticulalry NEITHER but what are you going to do one of them has to be president. We registered in CA and I am so happy we did. I agree. I totally vote for the Prop 8!! I mean who wouldn't? Well I guess some people wouldn't but I don't get it?? lol
